Every year you select an elective, and you have no idea what each class holds for you. Most of the time you are just hoping that you get the same elective as your friends. Then it comes to the next year, and you end up getting your first choice, but you don’t end up liking it.
An elective that was said over and over again was Mr. Scott’s Robotics class. Even though it’s only for 6th graders, it still won by a landslide, with many people saying they wish they were able to go back to saying stuff such as, “I liked this class because it was pretty easy and I had my friends in it,” Alexander Wang explained.
The second elective was musical theater, with most people saying it was a fun class and was very different from the other electives, which even caught the eye of some 6th graders, one of them being Ruby Nordstrom. She explained how she’s “probably most excited to take musical theater,” and continued to explain how that class catches her interest.
The third one was pretty close to being second and it was health, with a majority of people choosing it if they had already taken it or if they are currently taking it, with them mostly saying stuff like that it was “surprisingly a fun class, but it had a lot of presentations,” Zuri Mireles shared.
There are many electives to choose from, and when you are choosing your elective next time, hopefully this can help you to see what some of the favorites are.
