Over the years, students make friends that they’ll always remember. FWPA students also go through new experiences that will help them prepare for their futures, and remind them of their pasts. There have been various new students who’ve transferred to FWPA, and students who’ve attended FWPA for a while. Regardless of how long or short you’ve attended FWPA, there are always chances to make new memories, and meet new people.
Bodhi Smith, a new FWPA student, explained how his first year at FWPA has treated him, and his plans for the remainder of the school year, as well as who’s been the most memorable person to him. “Mr. Roberts has been the most memorable person to me because he lets me eat all the food I want in his class, and he doesn’t stop me from eating. He’s also a really good teacher.” Mr. Roberts encourages Bodhi to eat healthier, and allows him to eat in class as long as he cleans it up. “My plans for this year are to keep eating and not stop because I eat all the time,” said Bodhi.
Renetta Adusei shared some of the memories she’s had that bring a smile to her face, how her year’s going, and some ups and downs of this school year. “Field Day was a happy memory for me because it was really fun, we got pizza, and Crumbl cookies. This school year has been good because my grades have gotten better. A good part of this year was my grade going up in chemistry.” Renetta shared that a bad part of her year was when Mrs. Lasch gave her a hard test that she didn’t do well on.
Evan Tay shared, “The hardest class I’ve taken this year is Mr. Klumpenhower’s class, but it’s fun because he provides a lot of content, explanation of history, and a lot of good assignments, they take time, but it’s still fun, and the easiest class I’ve taken this year has been art class in Mr. S’s because for me, art isn’t hard to do, it’s also just a fun class.” Evan shared what his hardest and easiest classes are in his opinion.
Peppy Joseph reminisced his highlights of this school year, and the time he spent with his friends. “Making new friends, and the talent show have been highlights of this school year. The talent show helped me see other people’s talents and skills I never knew about, and going to my first dance was a memory that me and my friends will always remember. It was fun because we danced and ate a lot.”
London Bell exclaimed where the most memorable place at FWPA was for her this year, as well as who she spent those memories with. “Mrs. Paris’s room, I really like Mrs. Paris’s room because she’s really iconic and I love her. Her class is always so fun, and we get to hangout with our friends. A memory I had this year with my friends that I won’t forget is field day because my group won, and because it was a fun day. ”
Venessa Vasylevych and Julietta Kiseleva describe the memory they’ve made together as best friends. “Some of our favorite memories were last year’s eighth grade field trip at the University of Washington. “Our group was really fun, with our old friend Caitlin in it. Field Day this year was really fun, because we were able to hang out a lot with our friends.”
Any student from anywhere can make new discoveries and interests at FWPA. There are many ways to make memories in FWPA, and as shown by your peers, making them with friends is even better, and it makes school a more fun and better place. You can always meet new people and make friends, then making memories is really easy. There’s at least one person who has similar interests as you, and meeting them could let you make memories you’ll never forget.
