With Spring Break around the corner, many students have plans to travel. But for many of those staying home, extra free time means relaxing and watching a movie or TV show. Regardless of whether it be simply rewatching a favorite, checking out and catching up on the latest releases, or watching something new, there are plenty of options to choose from.
With streaming services such as Netflix and HBO offering ongoing series, many FWPA students eagerly await these new releases, counting down the days until their release. “I want to watch One Piece Season 2, the real-life version,” expressed Alex Chernikov.
Some others, like Essa Gaye, look forward to finishing and to watch these shows because “they are mad funny.” Similarly, Matvey Polyakov is looking forward to catching up on some of the recent releases. “I want to watch, movies like Sonic 3, Moana 2, and Inside Out 2.”
Meanwhile, some students are planning on dipping their toes into uncharted waters. Lanah Ong was one of the rare few who took an interest in planning to watch something new. “I’ve been wanting to watch movies about wars since we have been talking about it at school, and it’s pretty interesting,” stated Lanah.
With many different tastes and preferences in TV shows or movies, the students at FWPA have a large variety of options to choose from when binge-watching. Whether revisiting old favorites, catching up on recent releases, eagerly waiting for the hot upcoming shows, or exploring new genres, one thing is for sure—Spring Break is the perfect time for students to kick their feet up, unwind, and relax while binging some enticing cinema.
