The Associated Student Body (ASB) is a very important club, since FWPA is a very small school. ASB gives students the ability to create and plan out activities for the entire year. ASB representative Hannah Gorrie believes that “all the time we’re trying to improve and make things better, and working towards figuring out what problems we have now and how we can fix them.” ASB doesn’t only help with making events and producing them. It’s also there to fix problems that we have at school.
”Since Covid, our events have been going downhill, and you can see the lack of school pride, so I want to fix that,” says Suri Kern, the president of ASB. Recently, ASB prepared for the dance by designing all of the different props and designs. They created the wall art that is

in the Commons, the theme posters all over the school, the photo booth, and the food court. ASB planned the dance for about a month, and all students engaged in bringing their ideas for how they want it to look. “Between events, all we do is just plan other events, so like designing all the things that are going to be in it,” said Suri about their time during ASB every Friday.
