
When June 17 hits, summer plans will be put into play. Many people look ahead to plans for their summers. What are some summer plans from students at FWPA?
Jason Ogorodnik likes to go golfing with friends. “I love to go golfing with my buddies Justin Vasylevych and Jacob Mironyuk,” Jason exclaimed. Jason also can’t wait to go fishing with his friends and family as well. He plans to go fishing with his buddies, “I love going fishing in Banks Lake in Eastern Washington.” To add on, volleyball is one of Jason’s best and favorite sports, and he plays with his friends and companions from his church, the Slavic Gospel Church.
David Martynyuk loves playing sports like basketball, baseball, football, and even video games like Siege and Fortnite, both very competitive games. Sharing what he’ll do over the summer, David answered, “I ain’t gonna lie, I’m probably gonna go to work with my dad, come home and hop on Siege, and maybe go outside some time.”
Jose Fernandez is one of many athletes from FWPA; he is a soccer player, and he loves video games. He stated, “I am really gonna try to do my best in soccer, but mainly play video games.” He shared that Fortnite is definitely his favorite video game.
Anna Martynyuk is great at volleyball and is excited to play volleyball with her church friends. She expressed, “I am super excited to hang out with friends and family by the lake in the park and even at church.”
FWPA scholars will express their excitement and see these teens work on their skills over the summer. If you’re interested to know your friends’ plans for the summer, ask them to find out and maybe tag along.
